How to Pair Amethyst With Essential Oils

Adding crystals to your essential oil routine creates an incredible vibrational boost! In today’s roller bottle recipe, we will be focusing on pairing Amethyst with essential oils. But before we dive into the DIY, let’s learn more about Amethyst’s healing benefits, and what essential oils pairs well with Amethyst.

It’s SO easy! Here we go:

Materials:

1 pack all natural, undyed Amethyst crystal chips

1 roller bottle (or grab our premade Amethyst rollers here)

Essential oils of your choosing

Carrier oil of your choosing

Sage leaves for cleansing crystals

Instructions:

1. Wash your hands! You want to make sure you have very clean hands before you do this. Remember, everything you touch is going to end up inside of the roller bottle.

2. Cleanse your crystals. Not only do we want to have clean hands and clean crystals, but we want to have energetically cleansed crystals as well. The easiest and safest way to cleanse them is by burning sage or other cleansing herbs. Rinse off with water afterwards and let dry before adding to your roller bottle.

3. Get the appropriate amount of crystals. Place Amethyst crystals into your roller bottle, filling the bottle up about a quarter of the way. This leaves plenty of room for your essential oil + carrier oil mixture.

4. Select essential oils and test out blends. First of all, make sure you’re working with pure essential oils, for the most powerful results. [How to test the purity of your essential oils.] Hold your nose over the bottles and sniff. This will tell you if this essential oil combination is going to work. You can also smell each individual essential oil and see how strong they are, which will help you determine how to balance out that scent by adding more or less of another one. Adjust as needed.

5. Add essential oils into your roller bottle. 20-25 drops of essential oil is a good amount for a 10mL roller bottle. Once you’ve added the essential oils, let sit overnight. This way, your essential oils will be synergized, for optimal results with each use. [Learn more about the difference between blends and synergies here.]

6. Add carrier oil to fill up the bottle. The carrier oil dilutes the essential oils for safely applying to skin, and it also allows you to easily cover a large area of skin without using up all those essential oils so quickly. We use fractionated coconut oil in our roller recipes. Choose your favorite carrier oil from these skin friendly options.

The only difference between packing individual and wholesale orders? Shipping large wholesale orders of crystal glass roller bottles will require you to package them individually, in order to protect it during the shipping process, while also efficiently fitting as many as possible into a reasonably sized shipping box.
